iFi launches the GO link 2 Max at $85 with a balanced output
Unveiled at High End Vienna 2026, the Max adds S-Balanced architecture and up to 241 mW of output over the standard GO link 2, on a dual-DAC ESS Sabre chipset.

iFi has launched the GO link 2 Max at $85, shown at High End Vienna 2026 as the step up from the $59 GO link 2. It uses a dual-DAC ESS Sabre arrangement supporting PCM to 32-bit/384 kHz and native DSD256, with a balanced architecture iFi credits for lower noise and better separation, rated up to 241 mW of output.
241 mW is the number that matters, and it is a large figure for a dongle, enough to change which headphones are realistically drivable from a phone. As always it needs the impedance it was measured into before it can be compared against anything else.
