Final opened pre-orders on the DX10000 CL on 9 July 2026 at $8,499, with a Collector's Edition limited to 150 units at $8,999. The closed-back uses a 40 mm dynamic driver whose diaphragm is grown by chemical vapour deposition as true diamond, which Final distinguishes from the diamond-like coatings more common at the top of the market. It is rated at 20 ohms and 92 dB/mW, weighs 543 g, and ships with 4.4 mm balanced and 4-pin XLR cables.

Diaphragm stiffness is a real engineering lever: it pushes the first breakup mode up and out of the audible band, which is where a hard material earns its cost. Whether that is audible in a closed-back, where the enclosure and the seal dominate what reaches the ear, is a separate question, and at $8,499 it is the one worth measuring first. 92 dB/mW is also on the low side, so this is not a headphone to pair casually with a phone.
